But on our recent visit, the Square Off Team fought off the urge to order the BBQ pork steak (soooo goood!) and the mouth-watering Mom's meatloaf. We were interested in one thing, and one thing only: the St. Louis-style pizza!
Stevie Limmer, Crusoe's manager and daughter of the restaurant's founder Steve Limmer, has kept the family pizza tradition alive since taking over, serving out a crispy, savory pie that's overloaded with locally sourced toppings and finished off with a shake of house blended herbs and spices. It's a blend that's made in house and a recipe not shared with many; it's also what sets Crusoe's pizza apart from the competition!
The "All You Love" meat pizza will win over your heart, and most likely many of your votes! It's a thin crust, square cut pizza topped with ham, bacon, pepperoni, sausage AND hamburger. The creamy cheese blend holds the square together while not taking away from that addictive crunch all St. Louis-style pizza lovers look for.
